Dr. Stuenkel, very thought-provoking post. Next week will be an interesting start for another four years of domestic and foreign policy here in the United States. No matter the outcome, I am hopeful that the right candidate for the current climate will encourage more progressive policies between the U.S. and Brazil and very importantly, back Brazil in securing a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. Brazil is undoubtedly important to the world and very much so to the United States. We are not what we once were, but next week will unveil where we are going and whether or not our relationship with Brazil will keep trekking or end here.
